I would like to congratulate the O.C. of Bordeaux tournament, it was very well organized, hopfully future organizations take this exaple on how to make only such money as they need and dont look at this as a “moneymaker”, again very good Bordeaux.

Hi folks,

i wonder what the big “chink” of the controllers thinks about the application of New York? And what they think of the poor response of their team captains? I am very relieved that we don’t go to New York. The ECC has already become more and more expensive, i don’t want to imagine what an ECC in New York would have brought along on “side costs”….
But i am very disappointed that the team captains are not even able to answer a short email – the same guys that shall take responsibility for the ECC??

Most likely to late, but the winner of the spirit trophy 2006 was the slowdrinking ladies from Dublin ;o) (according to the manual, you’ll find it under downloads)

hi. im a member of the frankfurt team and we won “the spirit of ECC” last year. i need the winner of the year 2006 so i can put their name on the trophy. 2007 is missing aswell but i think the silly ones from munich;)

The Russian comments posted on this website were translated and had nothing to do with the ECC, the posts therefore have been deleted. I have a great deal of respect for our colleagues in ATC that do not speak English as their first language but that is the language of ATC whether you like it or not, please keep postings in English to allow everyone to read them and comment on them, they will be deleted if they are posted in any other language. Thank you for your understanding !

A pity that it’s always the money we keep argueing about. I really had the hope that with the invention of the “no pay no play” philosophy, that was history. C u in Spain

Good and clear ecc-website.
unfortunately Team Brussels did not have the luck to obtain a trophy at the farewell party, neither did we obtain food (and I am quite sure we were not the only ones :-)).
Anyway, next year better… C U all in Castellano olé

To all colleagues,
In the meantime the final results are published on the website of the 41st tournament. Fortunately for us – Schipholteam we became 41st on the tournament so every team has now our trophy. Luckily I was able to collect our trophy on the fairwell-party (no comment on that- that is for the teamcaptains – if anyone is interested I can give my personel opinion, just to improve anything). There were teams that collected more than one trophy, unsporty behaviour I guess.

I am sure the results from ECC 2008 will be published on the website very soon. There has been some problems which the OC are trying to sort out so please be patient. Amsterdam were very quick with updating their website but not everyone can be so efficient due to other circumstances. If you are unsure of the results Demis, Kiev beat Praha 3-1 after extra time in the main competition, Lisbon beat Tampere in the plate competition and Athens were the strongest team winning the W Anchor trophy. Am I spoiled too much from previous tournament in Amsterdam? Or it is normal to expect results of the Madeira tournament to be published on the relevant site?
I ‘ve got a strong feeling the ECC2008 web site was abandoned by whoever is responsible for it, even before the tournament ended.

I was expecting opdates on Lw web side under the tournement, with results of the games. The Party was the most quiret I have ever attended(my nb 26)

The Executive Committee recently sent out the details of the revised proposal from Live it Well events (formerly R3 Eventos), as well as our own requirements from the ECC point of view which we feel protects our interests as much as it can. Does anybody have any comments so far on this proposal, positive or negative?? Thanks in advance.

In November of 29th – December 2nd in Vilnius within a warm and friendly atmosphere the International ATC mini-football tournament took place.
Second year in a row tournament’s 1st place has won the Moscow ATC team!
Except ATCOs from Moscow these ATC teams took part in this tournament:
Team of Belaeronavigatsia (Belarus);
Warsaw ATC team (Poland);
Kishinev ATC team (Moldova);
Vilnius ATC team (Lithuania)
All games happened inside covered palace with an artificial football field according international standarts followed by the rules of FIFA and UEFA.
The sport center provides with locker-rooms and comfortable bath-rooms for the guests.
Participants of the tournament stayed in CONTI hotel spotted in the center of historical places of Vilnius old town (15 min. by feet from the hotel). A breakfast was included to the price of the stay.
Next year the routine tournament will find itself in Vilnius again. The structure of the tournament players chain will consist of 12 teams by 10 players minimum in each team.
